CPAP
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure or CPAP is an effective treatment for the more serious medical condition known as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) wherein collapse of the upper airways leads to periodic cessation of breathing during sleep. OSA has serious short and long term medical consequences and can only by ruled out by a complete evaluation by the specialists at the Snoring Centre.
CPAP is generally not prescribed for the treatment of snoring in the absence of documented OSA.
